Ordering Process and Design
 
How do I place a custom order?
1) CREATE YOUR OWN LOOK! Check out our DESIGN TEMPLATES under Sportswear in the menu above and design your own uniforms!
2) EMAIL YOUR OWN DESIGN to Orders@head2ToSportswear.com
3) REPLICATE AND RECREATE. Find an existing uniform that you like and let us know you would like to replicate it with your team name.
(Note: Head-2-Tō Sportswear will not copy any trademarked logos or copyrighted material).
 
What else do I need to know about ordering custom uniforms?
It is good to order 1-3 extra uniforms in case you have additional players or if you intend to use the same uniforms for the next few years.
 
Can I request sample products?
Most often our clients find that the product photos in the catalogue (download above) are clear enough to reflect the high quality and caliber of our uniforms. Should you need samples to present to the whole league or an approving body, please call us at 800.689.8830 to inquire about product sample availability.
 
Can I request a sample of my actual order?
For medium to large orders, it is our policy to make a production sample first and then we email you a digital picture for your approval. If you need us to mail you the actual product, please allow more time for production and delivery of your full order.
 
What are the things I need to complete an order?
You would need your team name, player names, player numbers (optional), sizes, and other special requests (longer inseams, etc).
 
After completing the order/payment, can I get help if I am not sure of the design I want?
We devote a great deal of time helping all of our clients find, modify, and/or design their own uniforms. Please call us at 800.689.8830 and let us know what you have in mind, and we will work fast on submitting several design options you can choose from.
 
What type of graphics files do you accept?
We accept jpg, bmp, pdf, psd, eps, gif, png, and tiff files.
 
What is the minimum order quantity?
For uniform sets (top and bottom) - 10
For tops only or bottoms only – 20
 
How can I check the status of my order?
You can inquire via email at tracking@Head2ToSportswear.com or e-mail your sales representative or call us at 800.689.8830. If the order has already been shipped, the tracking number will be emailed to you.
Products / Fonts / Fabrics / Sizes
 
What is “pro-quality” and how is it different from other uniforms?
Professional Quality is a term used to describe collegiate, semi-pro league, and Pro Sports uniforms. ****FABRIC*** used are of high quality and built to be durable. The designs are more detailed, and “lettering” is meticulously sewn on for style and durability.
 
Why are Head-2-Tō Sportswear products affordable even if it is “professional quality?”
We are the manufacturer, and therefore everything is either sold at wholesale or in between wholesale and retail. Our sportswear and gear will never be sold at retail.
 
Should I choose sewn on letters or printed letters?
Either way you are guaranteed a superior looking uniform. Most athletes prefer “sewn on” because of the professional look it is associated with. Printing gives more freedom for complicated designs and is better for reversible jerseys because it is lighter to wear.
 
Will printed letters crack or fall off?
We do use a high-quality printing method and we have not had any complaints about paint cracking or falling off.
 
What kind of fabrics can I choose from?
We have a wide variety of fabrics including the most popular for professional athletic wear like Dazzle, Pro Mesh, Shiny, Semi-cool, Air-Cool and Micro Mesh. We also use cotton (for warms ups and baseball attire), and satin for other uniforms. We continuously update our fabric selections by offering the newest material in terms of trend and technology.
 
What kind of fabric should I choose?
For basketball and football, most people prefer dazzle or NBA mesh (high quality fabric with air-holes). Some use a combination. For football “shiny” is often used because of it is less prone to “runs” and tears”, or double dazzle shoulders with a combination of heavy mesh. For baseball, cotton is widely used. For other sports, Dazzle, heavy Mesh and Shiny are your best bets. For practice jerseys, semi-cool or micro-mesh is usually preferred.
 
What fonts can I choose from?
We have a wide selection of font styles. You can either come up with your own font or use what we suggest. Please refer to our sample fonts located on the Graphics/Fonts page.
 
What’s the difference between tackle twill and printed? 
Tackle twill is better known as “sewn on” lettering wherein letters and numbers made of polyester are cut and meticulously sewn on the garment. Screen printed is heated on to the uniform and is good for detailed artwork and for reversible uniforms. 
 
What sizes do you use? 
We use a widely accepted “SIZING CHART” for American Sports Apparel. Please refer to the sizing chart page. Sizes include Youth Small, Youth Medium, Youth Large, Youth XL, Adult Small, Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult XL, and Adult 2XL. Larger sizes up to 7XL are available upon request for a small surcharge. 
 
How should I choose my size?
Our sizing chart defines the actual garment measurements for each size. For example, if you have a chest measuring 40”, we give you the freedom to choose a slightly bigger size for “allowance.” You might want a Men’s Large with Chest 48” for a 6” allowance or Men’s XL Chest 50” for an 8” allowance, and so on, depending on how loose you want the jersey to be. 
 
Can I request bigger than standard sizes like 4XL and 5XL?
Yes, we go all the way up to 7XL on our regular size chart.
 
Can I request longer inseams or sleeve lengths?
Yes we can accommodate requests for longer inseams (shorts length) or sleeve length; be sure to include this in your ORDER FORM.
Delivery Time / Shipping
 
What are your lead times?
Your custom-made uniforms should arrive 5 to 7 weeks from your order date. Please call Head-2-Tō Sportswear for very large orders since they may take extra time (closer to 6-8 weeks).
 
How soon will it take for my order to be processed?
Instantly, if you have a final design and approved payment, within as little as two hours if you need help finding a design that you like. It is really all up to you and how soon you want to get it started.
 
Do you accept rush orders?
Rush orders, or custom orders needed in less than five weeks may be accepted from time to time, depending on our production capacity. Please call us at 800.689.8830 and we will be very glad to assist you.
 
What are the shipping costs?
Normal Shipping is Free (Production + Shipping = 6-8 Weeks)
Express Shipping-Additional Fees do apply (Production + Shipping = 4-5 Weeks)-$6.00 per piece
